Cornish artist Joanne Short continues to paint stunning original colourist oil paintings of Cornwall and France. As one of Cornwall's elite Newlyn Society of Artists she has gained a huge following over the past thirty years of exhibiting in Cornwall & London. Joanne Short is one of Cornwall's best known and collectable contemporary artists.

Joanen Short's latest paintings are available exclusively on the John Dyer Gallery. Joanne has a unique way of working. Her elegant use of line creates beautifully composed canvases with an exquisite use of colour.

As a keen gardener Joanne's paintings often feature flowers and sub-tropical plants that she grows at her garden on the south coast of Cornwall for inspiration.

Joanne has been the artist in residence for the National Trust's St Michael's Mount, the island of Tresco and the Hanbury Gardens in Italy.

Collectors of her work include Alan Titchmarsh MBE, Toyah Willcox, and many thousands of private individuals around the world.
