About the John Dyer Gallery

The John Dyer Gallery Story

The John Dyer Gallery is run by the husband and wife team of artists John Dyer and Joanne Short. The gallery is predominantly an online gallery with clients encouraged to book private appointments with the artists to view original paintings at their spacious Edwardian property in Falmouth, Cornwall or to attend their spectacular public exhibition openings. We represent the original paintings and prints of John Dyer, Ted Dyer and Joanne Short - three of Cornwall's most established and acclaimed contemporary artists.

The gallery is a natural progression from their previous high street gallery and the artists have over 30 years of exhibition, gallery and artist experience making them experts in their field.

The John Dyer Gallery has a leading and unique set of exhibitions and community projects which are run in partnership with some of the UK's most prestigious organisations.

Established in 2005 the gallery has formed working relationships with the Eden Project, The National Trust, St Michael's Mount, Falmouth Art Gallery, The National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Kids in Museums, The Arts Council, the Eden project, the Born Free Foundation, Earth Day and many environmental organisations around the world.

The gallery offers a special opportunity to spend time with the artists viewing paintings, ceramics and prints in a friendly & comfortable environment without interruptions.

"The gallery bridges the gap between collector and artist and is one of UK's most exclusive galleries. Our last public exhibition held in conjunction with the acclaimed Eden Project & Survival International was a great success with over 500 people attending."
