Full Artist Information on Joanne Short: Introduction - Biography - Art in Public Collections - TV

Artist Joanne Short is one of Cornwall's best known artists and we are delighted to exclusively represent her pieces of ceramic art. Her hand built and decorated domestic ware is a real treat to see.

Elegant vases are glazed with beautiful colours and her use of line, composition and brush work make these true Joanne Short paintings but in the form of Cornish pottery.

The vases, plates and bowels feature an abundance of Cornish flowers and fish. Blue Iris, tulips, daisies and daffodils are subjects that the artist loves. The pieces look beautiful on their own or with flowers or fruit in. Our collectors love these unique and rare pieces.
