Seaweed and Cornish Fish ceramic bowl from artist Joanne Short

Ceramic bowl from Cornish artist and potter Joanne Short. Seaweed & fish are used to great effect. The fish swirl around the inside of the bowl while the seaweed almost floats up from the interior to meet our eye. Blue, cream and pink glazes have been applied with free brush work and energy. As one of Cornwall's most acclaimed contemporary artists this piece fits into Cornwall's ceramics timeline.
