Joanne Short

Painting by Joanne Short. Boats, Flags and Liver Birds, Liverpool

The Docks in Liverpool have provided the perfect subject for Joanne Short's amazing use of colour and line to come together into this fabulous new painting of this amazing city. A tall ship and the Razzle Dazzle Peter Blake ferry create an amazing frame through which we look beyond to the Liver building. The tables and chairs in the foreground invite us to linger and soak up the atmosphere.
