Joanne Short

Original painting by Joanne Short. Shimmering Moonlight, Falmouth.

Joanne Short's painting of Falmouth gives us a glimpse of the town lit by the full moon. The reflection of the moon lights up the small sailing boats in the bay. The Cornish buildings and King Charles Church catch the moonlight. Blue agapanthus flowers fill the foreground of the painting and the deep blue of the foreground is balanced by the ink blue sky. A beautiful painting of Falmouth.
