The National Maritime Museum Cornwall commissioned John Dyer to paint this amazing image of Falmouth & the museum beyond. A magical night sky with stars and mermaids. Falmouth ferry boats gather at Customs House Quay and a flotilla of small craft appear in the painting. Sailors, sea dogs, fishermen and families all gather to take in the scene and a tall ship gently drops anchor in the bay.
