In this limited edition print of the island of Tresco in the isles of Scilly Cornish Artist Joanne Short captures the beauty of Tresco Abbey Gardens with its plants and flowers tumbling and pushing, vying to be seen. Every corner of the print, just like the gardens themselves, is filled with colour and texture. Elegant palm trees tower over the gardens and between the foliage there are glimpses of a pale green sea and yachts sailing by, all set off by an apricot sky. Joanne Short has been the artist in resident for Tresco on a number of occasions and has lived and painted the amazing landscape and gardens.
This beautiful print is made to museum-quality standards with archival inks on watercolor paper. Each print is individually numbered and then signed and titled by Joanne Short in her Cornish studio.
