John Dyer and Joanne Short are exhibiting their latest collection of vibrant paintings within the historic and inspiring setting of Porthmeor Studio 10, overlooking the stunning Porthmeor Beach. This new collection showcases expressive oils and acrylics celebrating the Cornish coastline and the charm of Italy, designed to captivate and enchant all who view them.
Join us this Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm to view the new collection, enjoy mince pies and drinks in the company of the artists, and be surrounded by their extraordinary new works.

I first came across John’s work when visiting family in Cornwall some years ago and I’ve coveted his work ever since.
I’ve always loved the simple way he captures the colour and character of places. To finally have one in our home is particularly special and now seen it in person, I absolutely love it!!

My daughters and I asked John if he would paint a picture for a surprise 50th birthday present for my husband, showing the lovely family holidays we have had in Fowey. We exchanged emails discussing ideas and then left it up to John to work his magic! The end result was absolutely perfect and left my husband speechless. John perfectly captured the moments and memories we have, as well as evoking the atmosphere of Fowey. Now, every day we enjoy the vibrant colours, wonderful details and happy memories. The whole process was exciting and very easy thanks to John.
