Family Days in Fowey
My daughters and I asked John if he would paint a picture for a surprise 50th birthday present for my husband, showing the lovely family holidays we have had in Fowey. We exchanged emails discussing ideas and then left it up to John to work his magic! The end result was absolutely perfect and left my husband speechless. John perfectly captured the moments and memories we have, as well as evoking the atmosphere of Fowey. Now, every day we enjoy the vibrant colours, wonderful details and happy memories. The whole process was exciting and very easy thanks to John.

Thank you for the really wonderful print,it arrived safely and it was packed so well. This is a 50th birthday gift for my daughter who did this walk last year with her Dad. My husband and I have travelled to Cornwall from the United States a number of times through the years. Our favorite spot is Helford where we were fortunate enough to stay in a rental cottage. Joanne Short's poster brings back our memories of that lovely place. The colors are beautiful.

Vibrant, irreverent, fun
Such a vibrant, fun painting. Very different from most of the items in my collection but felt a need of something a bit irreverent & cheery 😊.
Painting extremely well packaged - perhaps a little too much so, as I struggled to separate the packing for recycling.
