Jewel Paintings by John Dyer. Painted Ballet. Palais de Cristal

Exhibited with the ballet dancers during the "Palais de Cristal" Menton Ballet June 2009 to the music "Symphony in C Mayor" by G. Bizet. Directed by Jérôme Chretien

Palais de l'Europe, Menton. Vendredi 26 Juin: 20h30 et Samedi 27 Juin: 20h30

This special collection was painted for the "Palais de Cristal" ballet in Menton France to form spectacular settings for the dancers to perform against.

Each painting is a jewel like 10 x 12 inches in size and features a particular bird and crystal colour. The jewel paintings also form part of John Dyer's Darwin 200 residency in the UK. John Dyer designed the transitions and backdrop througout the ballet. View the paintings.
