Gannel Estuary

I bought this print as a gift for my daughter who is moving close to the Gannel. The colours and bright and eye catching. I love the tall purple Echiums, the paddle boarders and of course John Dyers iconic sea gulls that always make me smile.
I’m going to treat myself to the Fistral Bay print soon.

What beautiful colours!

I have just received my latest wonderful addition to my John Dyer collection - number 72!
I love the beautiful colours - soft and strong - particularly the touches of light and dark purple.
The picture is full of movement - of the river and the paddleboarders. There are also swimmers and sunbathers.
In the foreground are striking palm trees and echiums which catch one's attention.
The purple is on the river banks, on the paddleboards and on the houses in the background. Of course, there are seagulls flying overhead and in the water.
This is an amazing picture and something a bit different. I love it!
