Joanne Short

Original Painting by Joanne Short. Mediterranean Flowers, Tresco Abbey Gardens, Isles of Scilly, Cornwall.

Painted in the Tresco Abbey Gardens during Joanne's residency on the island of Tresco, the Isles of Scilly. Campion flowers, daisies and ferns combine with agave, pencil pines and palms in this mediterranean image. Joanne's elegant use of line and colour and unique way of painting create a calm but colourful painting of the garden. The shell house features in the painting.
