Very atmospheric!

I always follow John's Last Chance to Paint expeditions with great interest, particularly the daily videos where he is painting. I love all his work!

This new, eagerly awaited Kenyan collection is exceptional! It is something very different. I bought three small poster prints and one the next size up, which is this one. They are all amazing but this is my favourite.

The title is very descriptive.
The foreground is dominated by the wonderful giraffe by the acacia tree. Nearby is a zebra, one of the Maasai and various birds. The foreground is an orangey red and purple colour in bands with a few grasses. In the orange section are more Maasai, an ostrich and four elephants trooping along. Next is another purple strip with flamingos and palm trees. In the last orangey red section are three more giraffes, two lionesses, Maasai, ostriches and more acacia and palm trees. In the background, towering majestically above it all, is snow - topped Mount Kilimanjaro. The moon is full and there are flamingos and other birds in the sky.

This picture is beautifully painted and is very atmospheric! It has plenty of interest to delight the eye. I highly recommend it!
