Clyst St Mary School in Exeter booked artist John Dyer for an inspirational painting day.
We have been enjoying the spring sun and Cornish blue sky today in the garden.
I went to watch the St Piran’s day celebration in Penzance this morning.
Well the dog arrived, even though I put up a stiff resistance !
I just love the Mousehole lights. They make my Christmas and herald the start of the Christmas holidays.
Mrs Randall’s Class from Truro Prep School have been getting very arty !The 4 and 5 year olds have been looking at the christmas paintings by artist John Dyer.
I am devastated by the death of my friend Brian Stewart. Brian will continue to be an inspiration for the whole of my life I am sure. His shocking death on Sunday has struck a huge blow to me personally but I feel privileged to have had Brian as a best friend. Brian's death is a huge personal loss to his family, many hundreds of individuals, and the wider community of Cornwall and beyond.
John Dyer met the winning children from the Midas Construction / Precious Lives Art competition. The six winning paintings have been enlarged onto large panels by Falmouth company 20/20 to brighten up the construction site. It is hoped to also use the panels in the hospice when it is completed in 2011.
The latest exhibition at the prestigious Falmouth Art Gallery in Cornwall is called “A decade of collecting” and it features many amazing works of art.
The Conservatoire de musique,danse et théâtre de Menton on the Côte d’Azur have used John Dyer’s “Bienvenue au Conservatoire” painting for the poster to advertise the new academic year.
