Vogue have selected a John Dyer original painting to feature in their 'Live in Luxury' section in the May 2016 issue.
The painting titled "Seapinks and Sunshine, Godrevy" was painted by the artist on the cliffs at Godrevy and is a wonderful example of the artist's work. Vogue commented to the artist "Your artwork looks really striking on the page" and we agree.

Recognised as Cornwall's best loved painter his optimistic celebratory work continues Cornwall's rich art history.The painting illustrated ia a 24 x 24 inch canvas at £1650."
"My work has been featured in Vogue magazine before and it is always a thrill when they select a piece for their art section. It's such fun to see my paintings on their pages and to know how many people will be able to see it. I hope it brings some Cornish sunshine to all who view. It was a fabulous day sitting on the soft grass at Godrey when I painted this canvas. The wonderful Cornish blue sky filled with seagulls reflects in the sea creating a wonderful range of colours from ultramarine blue to aqua green. There are often seals swimming around the lighthouse and I popped a couple into my painting as my work is very much a time/place study.
While I was painting I got a little peckish so I took my camping stove from theDormobile Land Rover and cooked up some pasta pesto too ! Digory my dog came along for the ride and can be seen in my painting - he's the orange sausage dog. I love all the wild flowers on the cliffs during the Cornish spring and love using my paint to capture their colour and energy combined with the amazing sight of the lighthouse and all the wildlife and fun that can be found at Godrevy. The painting is a special memory of a splendid day in Cornwall."
