We will explore the different coastal scenes that she encountered on her journey, and learn more about her inspiration for creating these beautiful pieces of art.
In this blog post, we will take a look at the work of three landscape painters, John DyerJoanne Short and Ted Dyer, who have all captured the beauty of the landscape in their paintings. Both the UK and France are a wonder of the natural world and a landscape painter's dream, and both have played a big part in these three artists paintings. With its rugged coastline, sheltered coves and stunning gardens, Cornwall provides plenty of inspiration for artists, as does France, with its changing light and colourful landscape.

Tresco Abbey Gardens is one of the most beautiful and unique places in the world. Situated on the island of Tresco - part of the group of islands off the tip of Cornwall called the Isles of Scilly, the gardens are full of tropical plants and flowers, towering palms, magnificent proteas, agave, and many, many other exotic plants that create the perfect painter's paradise.

John Dyer recently had the fantastic opportunity to teach over 4000 children about rainforests and painting from the Eden Project's rainforest itself! He did this by using Switcher Studio and Zoom to broadcast a live lesson from the rainforest. The children were from schools all around the world. John's art lesson was designed to teach kids about rainforests and why they are important for our planet.

We had been looking forward to this painting trip to Tuscany for a long time. We had both been dreaming of painting under the Italian sun, and enjoying the delicious food. As we drove down the winding roads, we were filled with anticipation. The Tuscan landscape is so beautiful, with its rolling hills, olive groves and vineyards. We couldn't wait to get started painting!
