John Dyer Painting. Fun on the Mersey, Liverpool

The approach to Liverpool across the Mersey River is one of the most famous ferry crossings in the world and artist John Dyer not only enjoyed his experience of arriving in Liverpool on the Peter Blake designed ferry but has celebrated Liverpool in this extraordinary new painting. A host of river craft fill the canvas alongside seals, seagulls and Liver birds creating a unique image of Liverpool.
