The ‘KC Green’ Team of Children and staff at King Charles Primary School in Falmouth, Cornwall have asked artist John Dyer if he would produce a design for them for their new eco-bag.
“John has long been a great friend to the school. Even though he and his wife Joanne Short are currently resident artists at The Hanbury Gardens in the South of France he still responded positively to a request to support the school’s GREEN CAMPAIGN. Long time supporter of the environment, John was only too pleased to submit a beautiful design for our organic cotton bags. The bags symbolise our commitment to becoming a sustainable school, whilst providing a useful means of raising awareness of global issues in the local community.”

“This has been a great project to be involved in, the school is really trying to engage the children with the environment - they even have their own acre of rainforest ! I exchanged emails about the design and also the benefits of organic cotton before I submitted my ideas to the children. For me the bag needed to have the essence of Cornish fresh air, Plant diversity and Seaside fun in the environment and the result looks great !”
