Our latest collection of 11 new paintings from artists John Dyer and Joanne Short celebrates and explores the colours and heat of Summer 2021. The artists have been exploring Cornwall; walking, swimming, surfing, camping and painting. This wonderful new collection of contemporary paintings includes paintings of St Ives, Mawgan Porth, Bude, Polzeath, St Mawes, Kynance Cove, Godrevy, Falmouth and St Michael's Mount. The wonderful beach and landscape of Mawgan Porth on the north coast of Cornwall is captured in this stunning new oil painting by Joanne Short. The foreground is full of rich colour, with beach roses and poppies featuring in the exquisitely constructed composition.
