Some of the children at Ernesettle School in Plymouth have been studying the paintings of artist John Dyer.
As part of the project they all had a go at their own ‘John Dyer’ and what a fantastic set of work they have done.
“The children have been really enthused about this and thoroughly enjoyed making their own pictures.
It has been a very lengthy project as when they tried to recreate one of John Dyer’s pictures in a day they realised that they had to do it in stages as if we didn’t the paint would run and mix in with all the other colours.
The work has been done solely by the children in small groups with the teacher at hand to help them if needed.”
