Total cost with free delivery worldwide

Available options: Large Unframed

This stunning John Dyer limited edition print features the wonderful architecture of the casino in Monte-Carlo, with Monaco flags fluttering in the warm summer breeze. The Hotel de Paris is also featured in this picture and the view between these two iconic buildings provides a glimpse of the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea. Sub-tropical palms and plants abound and bring a huge amount of dynamic energy and fun to the print.

The artist and his family are featured in the foreground of the painting and the piece depicts the artist's feelings about exhibiting in Monaco and being the artist in residence for the official promotional SBM film of the principality.

The couple embracing in the foreground makes this an ideal present for weddings or romantic occasions.

John Dyer, one of the UK’s best-known and acclaimed artists, was selected to appear in the 2010 prestigious Monte-Carlo SBM Film 'One year in Monte-Carlo'. The film, by filmmaker Jeff Lehalle, focuses on the ‘Art of Living in the principality of Monaco.

John Dyer lived and painted in the south of France for three years and the painting that features on this print of Monaco is from his time as a resident artist in France.

What a fantastic picture!

What a fantastic picture! ( At the framers) I have had my eye on this one for a while but new pictures cropped up. This has an interesting composition with the two buidings - the Casino and the Hotel de Paris on either side. The Mediterranean sparkles in between. The cuddlers are surrounded by lovely bright flowers and palm trees with a nice fountain nearby. This is amongst my favourites of John's works, but then, they'll all my favourites! I wish I had the actual print here to see the details full size. Well done John, a real winner!
