In 2023, John Dyer travelled to Kenya in Africa to run 'Precious Africa' for his Last Chance to Paint educational platform that inspires well over 50,000 children every year. Accompanied by his wife and fellow artist Joanne Short, he painted a new series of paintings in Amboseli National Park, Ol Pejeta Conservancy and Meru. The expedition was hosted and arranged by the Born Free Foundation.
