A spectacular new exhibition of work by two top artists has inspired more than 1,000 young people from around the world to create their own rainforest-themed works.

John Dyer, the Eden Project’s painter in residence, and Nixiwaka Yawanawá, an Amazonian Indian artist, created 12 paintings offering a unique insight into the sacred spiritual culture of the Yawanawá tribe of Brazil.

Free children's inspiration day

Tuesday 15 September 2015, 10am-2.30pm at the Eden Project

Teachers were invited to bring up to 10 gifted pupils from their school to meet artist John Dyer, explore the rainforest and develop their creative skills. Particularly relevant for pupils studying for their Arts Award, this event will help to support elements of Discover, Explore and Bronze Arts Award. Participating pupils will be encouraged to share what they've learned with their peers back in school.
