John Dyer Seagulls and the Pirates of Penzance in Hertfordshire !

Edwinstree Middle School in Hertfordshire have recently staged a production of ‘Pirates of Penzance’ where the whole school took inspiration from the paintings of artist John Dyer.

Jane Chipperfield, head of art at the school, contacted the John Dyer Gallery to showcase the amazing art the children made . “The children loved the paintings and have produced some lovely final pieces, recycled scrap gull sculptures and landscape paintings all inspired by John Dyer’s paintings.”

“This is a fantastic set of work and it is great to see the children so inspired by my paintings. Congratulations to all the children and staff who took part and keep on being creative, I love it !” John Dyer.
