Free International and UK Delivery

We provide a complimentary delivery service with selected courier companies for items purchased online from The John Dyer Gallery for all our customers around the world.

We have many clients based in the UK, EU as well as the USA, Australia and other worldwide destinations. We make sure that everything we send is carefully packed.

British Forces Address

Some of our shipping providers don't support orders bound for military installations (US or British): BFPO (British Forces Post Office) or APO (Army Post Office). In such cases customers need to provide an alternative shipping address or please contact us first before placing your order so we can check if we can deliver to the address.

Import fees for Paintings and Signed Prints sent from the UK

Original paintings are sent from the UK using the export and commodity code: 9701910000

Our collectable limited edition art prints are sent with commodity code: 9702000000 as these are collector's items.

These export/commodity codes normally entitle goods to be free of import duties (not necessarily VAT) in most countries but the decision on the border and point of import is not in our control.

Our EORI number is GB785269480000.

Buying Art Poster Prints, Canvas Prints, Art T-Shirts, Art Mugs, Art Phone Cases

Our art poster print range and most of the items in our gallery gift range (excluding books and calendars)  are produced locally to you and will be delivered fast and will not generally have any import duties applied if you are in the UK, USA, EU or Australia.

N.B. You should check the details for your specific location to be aware of any additional import or VAT fees that could potentially apply as you will be liable to pay these locally at your expense. UK couriers generally use the DDU system (Delivered Duty Unpaid) as every country has changing and complex tax systems.

Other items

Other items, such as books we have different codes applied, such as 4911990000 and we advise you to check the regulations in your country for imports.

Packaging

Prints

Unframed prints and art posters are generally shipped in sturdy cardboard tubes via the Royal Mail. Framed art posters are packed in boxes that provide all the protection required to travel safely on UPS, DPD, TNT, ParcelForce, DHL or other couriers.

Paintings

Our original paintings are individually packed with bubble wrap and we cut wooden hardboard to cover each surface of the painting to provide extra protection. We tend to us DHL for most painting deliveries.

For our larger paintings, that are delivered in the UK, we often use a specialist arts courier who provides a point to point delivery service.

Very large original paintings being exported have crates built for them by a specialist arts courier before despatch.

All of these options are provided complimentary to all our buyers around the world.

Delivery Policy

We will get your order to you as soon as we possibly can.

If we think it will take us longer than 8 working days to despatch your order to you we will contact you to keep you informed. Once despatched the Royal Mail now take between 1 and 5 days to deliver unframed prints and smaller framed art posters. Large framed art posters and original paintings are sent on a high speed next day delivery service with a courier once we have packaged them and should arrive within three days from despatch unless you are an internationally buyer.

If you need your items delivered really urgently please telephone us on 01326 735 016 and we will take your order over the phone and discuss the options with you.

If you live out of the UK delivery will take a little longer. You can always call us on +44 (0) 1326 735 016 and we can take payment and arrange delivery over the phone. We accept all major credit and debit cards including Amex.
