Cornish artist John Dyer captures the colour, rhythm and warmth of Peru in this jewel-like original acrylic painting. Set beneath a crescent moon and a sky scattered with starbursts, ‘Moonlit Llamas and Guinea Pigs at the Potato Harvest, Peru’draws you into a landscape that feels both magical and deeply rooted in Andean life. Snowy peaks rise in the distance reed boats drift across the lake.
In the foreground, John paints a gathering of llamas with all the character and charm that collectors love. Their woven blankets echo the patterns found across Peru, picking up the joyful palette of pinks, oranges, yellows and blues that flow through the terraces.
