This is the view down the valley on the road between Menton and Sospel in the mountains at the back of the Côte d’Azur. The trees are just turning as autumn arrives. Little provençal houses nestle on the hillsides surrounded by olive groves, all looking down on the old viaduct spanning the valley. Way in the distance the Italian Alps stand tall, waiting for the first fall of snow.
