Painting Description

This Cornwall painting is a piece of original art painted with oil on canvas by Cornish artist Ted Dyer.

“Sunshine and Snow, Kimberley Park, Falmouth” is a joyful 14 x 14-inch oil on canvas by Cornish artist Ted Dyer. Capturing one of Cornwall’s rare snowy days, the painting brims with life: children sledging and playing, while dappled sunlight filters through snow-laden branches. Ted’s expressive brushstrokes and gentle palette evoke that special hush of a winter’s morning, as laughter and soft footsteps leave tracks in the fresh snow.

For anyone who treasures Cornwall’s charm, this original artwork offers a glimpse of a fleeting moment when the county’s landscape is transformed by a blanket of white. It invites the viewer to share in the warmth of cherished memories and the simple magic of a snow day in the heart of Falmouth.
