Vintage Art Blog Vault

In 2021 we have spent a few months working daily with Cornwall Mind to help them to raise much needed funds to support better mental health in Cornwall.

Artist Joanne Short has been working with Visit Somerset to inject a dash of art to their latest publicity. Something to look forward to later in the year, once travel restrictions are hopefully eased a little as Coronavirus is taken under control, are the wonders of the Somerset landscape and many attractions.

The British Museum this year approached The John Dyer Gallery to explore licensing a range of Joanne Short paintings for a set of gifts for the British Museum Shop.

During May 2006 John Dyer and Joanne Short were the Artists in Residence for St. Michael's Mount. Working with the island Manager and the St. Aubyn family the two artists have realised an exciting and unique new set of work which will be exhibited on the Mount at the end of the year.
