The Falmouth Tall Ships Races & Regatta 2023 (15th to 18th August) promises an unforgettable experience for all involved. "I'm thrilled to have been asked to be the official artist in residence for the Falmouth Tall Ships once more, after my previous Tall Ships residencies in 1998, 2008 and 2014. This year's Tall Ships are truly magnificent, and I have been inspired to create a painting that captures the awe-inspiring scale of these majestic vessels as they sail out into the open sea, past Black Rock, St Mawes Castle and St Anthony lighthouse. From the gorgeous translucent light of the sails to the excitement of the people standing on the shore, my painting and official prints celebrate and portray the essence of this historic moment for generations to come."
