John Dyer Global Art Paintings exhibited at Falmouth Art Gallery

Artist John Dyer is one of the world's leading ethnobotanical painters. Falmouth Art Gallery in Cornwall have recently put on an exhibition of some of these important works.
The paintings on display are from his travels around the world painting the ethno-botanical stories of the world's major food crops; Rice, Banana and Potato.

John has painted this series over the past ten years as artist in residence at The Eden Project, the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines, International Potato Center - CIP in Peru and Bioversity International in Costa Rica.

The exhibition of Global Crop Paintings is on until 9th June 2012.

The paintings will then join a much larger exhibition of John Dyer's Global Gardens paintings at The National Trust,Trelissick Garden in an exhibition that we will be inviting you all to see with us on June 23rd 2012.
