Creative and talented children from from Mylor Bridge, Penair, Gerrans, Cubert, Mousehole, St Stephens, St Erme with Trispen, Falmouth Primary, St Francis, St Mary's and Richard Lander schools converged on the Eden Project to meet artist John Dyer and to learn about tribal culture and the Spirit of the Rainforest Project.
John Dyer launched the day with an engaging introduction and talk followed by questions and answers. The children then split into three groups to spend time with the team from Falmouth Art Gallery painting rainforest paintings and also to explore the rainforest biome with an inspirational guided tour with Eden's green team.
The feedback from the inspiration day was fantastic and the children will now return to school to tell their friends all about the Spirit of the Rainforest.
"Thank you for an amazing and inspiring day for all the children."
Find out more about the project and get any children you know involved before the end of September and they could see their art work on edenproject.com and in the biomes too ! http://www.johndyergallery.co.uk/rainforest
