Artist Joanne Short held an exciting painting workshop in the olive park at Cap martin overlooking Monaco yesterday.
The children were asked to look at the light and shade on the olive trees and the forms of the amazing old trunks.
The large collaborative painting was completed in the park using poster paints and collage.
“It was a fantastic project and the children really observed the trees well. Their preliminary drawings and sense of scale was amazing.”
The final piece will go on exhibition at the Palais l’Europe in Menton in a few weeks time.
