IRRI, The International Rice Research Institute are launching 'The Art of John Dyer, Rice is Life' Calendar for 2006.

The calendar designed and produced by IRRI in the Philippines will be distributed across Asia as part of their work to raise public awarness about the ethno-botanical relationships of the crop Rice. The calendar is in three languages and features 6 of John Dyer's paintings that he completed in the field during the year of rice in 2004 in the Philippines.

"The Calendar is another project that firmly places John's work at the forefront of contemporary art and current environmental issues and adds to John's reputation as one of the UK's leading artists."
