This beautiful oil painting on canvas by artist Joanne Short, captures the beauty and colour of the Minehead promenade, sweeping round to the pretty harbour and stunning North Hill rising above the bay. North Hill is often referred to as “The gateway to Exmoor” and is the start of the South West Coast Path. Joanne’s work can be seen on the front cover of the Visit Somerset brochure for 2020 and her reputation as an artist in Somerset is growing fast. This painting is the perfect representation of this fun and colourful town.
