This original oil painting by acclaimed Cornish artist Joanne Short, of Porthcressa Beach, captures the beauty and tranquility of St. Mary’s in the Isles of Scilly to perfection. Boats bob near to the shore as the blue agapanthus dazzle in the foreground, lifting their heads above the glistening white sand typical of the Isles of Scilly. This painting gives out an aura of calm, away from the bustle of everyday life; something to sit, enjoy and dream about.
