The light yesterday in Marazion was really magical. It was a warm day with soft hazy sun. It really felt like summer. The car parks were full and I treated myself to chips while we played on the beach and in the fantastic public playpark.
St Michael’s Mount opens for the season soon and it always impresses me. When you stand in Marazion it fills your view which is something a photograph never manages to capture.
My next painting may well have to be of the Mount to capture everything I feel about this great little island.
Marazion has an amazingly French feel to it. The architecture is different with stone work, curves, towers and details that are more typical of France. The wide walk way along the front and fabulous children’s play park all add to this.
Enjoy the weather!
