Magical!

This charming and beautiful print tells a story. From where did the couple come? For how long had they been meditating, facing the sea with arms outstretched? Did they always come when the moon was full? The nearby Trevose Head Lighthouse stands like a beacon, gleaming white against the inky blue sea and sky. The strong dark blue of both and the dark green of the land add to the drama and make this picture very atmospheric.
There are choughs in the foreground and flying in the sky, as well as puffins and seagulls overhead. There are also a few small boats in the distance. The turquoise and white of the moon mirror the colours of the grass and the waves. This is a really magical print, and I can't wait to get it framed. It will be facing a lighthouse doorstop on the tumble dryer - as I have enough doorstops on the floor - that I bought in honour of many of John's paintings.
