The National Maritime Museum Cornwall commissioned artist John Dyer to paint their official painting for their opening celebrations and this is the official limited edition print that was launched for this momentous event in Falmouth.
The amazing limited edition print shows Falmouth harbour & the National Maritime Museum Cornwall beyond. A magical night sky with stars and mermaids sets the scene. Falmouth ferry boats gather at Customs House Quay and a flotilla of small craft appear in the painting. Sailors, sea dogs, fishermen and families all gather to take in the scene and a tall ship gently drops anchor in the bay.
We only have a very few copies of this famous John Dyer Cornish print available.
